Who we are

caiochase.com is the personal author website of Caio Chase. This policy explains what data the site collects, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

• Newsletter (“Join the Gods”): the newsletter is hosted on Substack. Signing up happens on Substack’s own site, and the email address you give them is held by them under their privacy policy. This site does not receive or store it.
• Contact form: your name, email address, message, and the category you select, sent to us via our email provider, Resend, and checked for spam via Cloudflare Turnstile.
• Analytics: if you accept cookies via the banner, basic usage data (pages visited, button clicks, reading progress) collected through PostHog. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

How we use it

To respond to messages sent through the contact form, and to understand how people use the site so we can improve it. We do not sell your data. The newsletter is sent by Substack, to the address you gave Substack.

Third-party processors

Substack (newsletter), PostHog (analytics), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare (spam protection), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to this site.

Your rights

If you’re in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email — that request goes to Substack, who hold the list — or contact us using the details below to request anything else.
